Our story

A small family business, made by hand in Perth.

The Chandler Soap & Wax Co. is a small family business. Every candle is hand-crafted in small batches from soy wax, chosen because it burns clean and carries a scent beautifully, then poured, labelled and packed by hand.

Alongside our candles we make castile liquid soap, a gentle plant-oil soap whose recipe has stood the test of time for centuries. Each soap is scented to match a candle, so a favourite fragrance can follow you from the living room to the basin.

No production line, no shortcuts: just good wax, good soap and a lot of care.
